iOS 9.3.4 Issues News: Test Reveals Faster Boot Time; Jailbreak-Proof Security Promised?

The release of iOS 9.3.4, the final update by Apple before launching the iOS 10, allowed developers to test its boot up speed. And by all indications, the results are good.

One of the experiments was to compare the iOS 10 beta and the iOS 9.3.4, and how they fare when installed in similar Apple phones. For example, the iPhone 5 significantly performed better in the iOS 10 beta against the recent software update, said the report.

Meanwhile, the iPhone 5S was found to have booted up faster in the iOS 9.3.4 compared to the iOS 10 beta. The apps also opened much faster under this setup. In the same manner, the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6s also performed better in the iOS 9.3.4, according to the news report.

The obvious conclusion is that the iOS 9.3.4 is more suited to higher-end Apple devices. But it must be remembered that the iOS 10 is still in the beta stage. Apple is still going to nip and tuck any of the issues in the software.

What the iOS 9.3.4 will do, however, is to prevent the Pangu jailbreak, after the Chinese firm managed to break the security features of the iOS 9.3.3. Apple is also not making it a secret that the Pangu jailbreak was what prompted the update.

Meanwhile, NeuroGadget said the news of the iOS 9.3.4 release should not bother iPhone owners using the current OS. It said that Apple did not make any improvement or provide new features in the update, except taking away the ability to jailbreak the phone.
