iOS 9.2 Update News: Italian Developer Luca Todesco, Pangu 9, TaiG Jailbreak iOS 9.2

Apple's iOS 9.2 has reportedly been jailbroken, as per recent reports.

Haema Capital Ltd. Company director Luca Todesco has successfully jailbroken iOS 9.2, according to Crossmap. As per the publication, the Italian developer had posted a screenshot of his allegedly jailbroke Apple iOS 9.2.1 running Cydia. In addition, Todesco reportedly claimed that he would not be releasing the jailbreak that he had made.

It has been added that while there had been several people who had vouched for Todesco, there were some who remained uncertain of his claim.

The prime reason behind Todesco's refusal to release his iOS 9.2 jailbreak was Apple's upcoming iOS 9.2.1 release, which is reportedly undergoing its second round of beta testing. This means that the version could only be accessed by developers and public beta testers.

In addition, the iOS 9.2 jailbreak was not released, as Apple might patch the iOS 9.2.1 bug that was used to jailbreak the OS version. Other rumors say that Todesco might share the bug with the Cupertino-based company, so that the latter could resolve the issue when they release their next OS update.

Pangu 9 and TaiG have reportedly jailbroken iOS 9.1 and iOS 9.2, as per Neurogadget. According to the publication, Pangu 9 had managed to jailbreak iOS 9.0, 9.0.1, and 9.0.2, and Apple had patched all security loopholes in the iOS 9.1's beta 4. As a result, Pangu 9 had advised the OS users not to upgrade their devices to iOS 9.1 or iOS 9.2 if they wanted to remain jailbroken.

It was also claimed that TaiG's partner, 3K assistant, was able to jailbreak iOS 9.1 and iOS 9.2; however, the companies had withdrawn their announcement shortly.
