iOS 10 Release Date, News Update: Siri More Dynamic; Tweaks More Than Cosmetic?

The iOS 10 promises to be a more engaging and accurate Siri, while the user interface has also been tweaked to maximize user experience.

In previous iterations of the software, users have complaint about the lack of ability to delete built-in apps. That seems to be changing with the iOS 10, which will now allow users to get rid of the apps they don't like.

There's also the "Dark Mode" feature, which is anticipated to be the next default setting for the Apple devices probably by 2017 and beyond.

The report by Forbes pointed to the good move by Apple to open the voice assistant to developers, which will only expand the functionality of Siri in relation to third-party apps. The timing couldn't be more apt considering that Google is developing its own voice assistant in Now and Microsoft has its own Cortana.

According to the latest news, as shared by Tech Radar, the iOS 10 may be fully available (meaning no bugs and fixes) by the time the new iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus will be rolled out in September.

Apple actually official launched the iOS 10 during WWDC although it's only available to developers. The beta for those who will want to download it may be released next month.

The article said that the public beta should be welcome news for the users who are anticipating the release of the iOS 10. "Last year's public beta was a success for Apple judging from the smoother sailing of iOS 9, and it continued that streak with new iOS 9.3 features that also went through a three-month beta," it said.
