'Hunter X Hunter' Chapter 361 Release Date, Third Season Cancelled Due To Creator’s Health Condition?

Fans will not be able to see "Hunter X Hunter" chapter 361 and season 3 anytime soon, as per reports.

The forthcoming segments of the hit manga and anime series are set to be delayed, as Japanese creator Yoshihiro Togashi will not be able to work on it at the moment, News Everyday has learned. As per the publication, his back problem is the root cause of the delay.

In a statement, as cited by Rocket News 24, "Weekly Shonen Jump" publisher Shueisha said that the last time the series had been put on hold had been because of Togashi's lower back pain, adding that once again, his condition had gotten worse, necessitating a break again.

"At this time, it is not certain when we will be able to resume the series," Shueisha added.

Despite the back pain issues, Togashi's wife herself Naoko Takueuchi, has reportedly drawing the background patterns and illustrations for "Hunter X Hunter." As per reports, Takueuchi is also a known manga artist. In fact, she was the person behind the "Sailor Moon" series.

In this regard, "Hunter X Hunter" producers are now reportedly left with no choice but to almost cancel the third season of the series' chapter 361, as per Movie News Guide. This leaves fan with no idea in terms of the manga and anime's release date.

"Hunter X Hunter" chapter 361's storyline is set to feature the "Dark Continent Arc." As per reports, the producers are set to use it as the third season's bulk; however, it is set to push through upon resolution of Togashi's back issue.
