Hunger Games 3: Mockingjay Release Date, Cast Rumors Latest: Jennifer Lawrence to Take Hiatus From Acting After Finishing New Hunger Games Movie

"Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 2" is approaching its final production stint for the second half of the highly awaited two part sequel. The release date for "Mockingjay Part 1," the follow-up to the record breaking multi-million dollar "Hunger Games: Catching Fire," is scheduled for November of this year.

"Mockingjay Part 2" will land in November of 2015, and will cap off the trilogy based on the best-selling young adult fiction series.

"On the last day of 'Hunger Games,' I'm going to turn my phone off for a year," Jennifer Lawrence, 23, told Empire Magazine. The young actress has set her heart on more downtime in the coming year, and at least hopes for an easier schedule so that she can relax.

"Hunger Games" is still currently filming in Atlanta, although lamentably without the inclusion of their actor for Head Gameskeeper Plutarch Heavensbee in the series: Phillip Seymour Hoffman. Hoffman reportedly died of a drug overdose in his New York apartment in early February.

Despite claims that she wants no more, sources indicate that Lawrence already has a couple of projects lined up for the end of the "Hunger Games" Series.

A literary adaptation from source material that has created both a T.V. miniseries and a cinematic gem, is going to be remade by former "Hunger Games" director Gary Ross.

"East of Eden," often associated with the actor James Dean, will allegedly feature Jennifer Lawrence as Cathy Ames, the beautiful but cold-hearted antagonist of the film.

So, does Lawrence really want a year off after all? We'll find out as these and other projects in the year swing into production.
