HTC One M10 Release Date, Specs Update: Device Set To Integrate Windows 10; Gets Q2 Release?

Along with the release of the HTC One M10 in the second quarter of 2016, it has also been revealed that HTC is putting its focus on the integration of Windows 10 into its product line.

HTC might release a Window 10 mobile version in its One M10 model, if not its entire product line, according to WMPowerUser. As per the publication, it was a surprising move for HTC to release a Windows 10 Mobile handset, since it has a distant relationship with Windows Mobile, which is seen as a "gap" in Microsoft's records.

Further evidence about the integration of the Windows 10 platform to HTC's One M10 is the job post for an account management director in Taipei on Dec. 29, 2015.

As per the said job post, the account management director is set to aim impacts through senior executive levels to CEO levels when building product portfolio that emphasize focused user situations around the Windows 10 Mobile and Microsoft services, integrated with HTC's services, applications, and devices.

In addition, the account management director shall also spearhead the business and marketing development aspects, with a heavy focus on coordinated strategy development with OEM, OSG, and Marketing.

In line with its specifications, the forthcoming HTC One M10 is set to come with a 3000mAh battery, together with a 23-megapixel rear camera, as per Techno Buffalo. It is expected that the new device is a water-resistant variant with its IP68 water-resistant rating. The HTC One M10 is also set to run Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, along with Sense 8.0_GP.

The HTC One M10 is expected to be released in April.
