A second spoiler clip has been released for How I Met Your Mother Season 9 Episode 10 "Mom and Dad," set to air Monday night at 8/7c on CBS.

In the promo Barney and his brother James are arguing about whose dad their mother should be involved with. Apparently the groom was under the impression that James invited his dad to the wedding to marry Barney and Robin. Apparently that's not the entire truth. Instead James was also hoping his father could rekindle the romance with mama Stinson.

James explains how it makes perfect sense seeing how both his dad and Mrs. Stinson are single while Barney's dad is happily married with two kids.

Mid-argument the clip flash forwards to Barney's ideal family future, which involves his stepmother dying in a parasailing accident leaving his dad free to reunite with his mother.

Stopping the weird fantasy short, James jumps into one of his own.

While Barney worries Robin with his plan to get his parents back together, Ted "will be convinced someone framed him by messing up a wedding related duty."

Guest stars will include John Lithgow as Barney's father Jerry and Wayne Brady as Barney's brother James.
