Hillsong Worship 'No Other Name' Album Reaches Top 10 Success in 14 Countries on First Day (VIDEO)

Hillsong released No Other Name worldwide and it is already being met with a massive amount of support around the world. The album is currently charting in the Top 10 of iTunes in 14 countries.

No Other Name is Top 5 overall on iTunes in the U.S. (No. 4). Making a global impact, it is also charting in the Top 10 on iTunes in 13 other countries. No Other Name is No. 1 in Sweden, the Netherlands, and Finland.

This is the first release under the new moniker "Hillsong Worship" and the 26th annual live worship project. No Other Name released this week in conjunction with the annual Hillsong Conference in Sydney, Australia.

Celebrating 30 years of ministry, in a press release Hillsong Church said it is "focusing on pioneering again seeking to do so on the ancient foundations of God's Word and the bedrock of the centuries of faithful men and women who have built the church."

Hillsong has brought to the church songs such as "Shout To The Lord," "Mighty To Save," "Hosanna," "Cornerstone" and "Forever Reign." This annual live release features 11 new songs that will refresh an individual and congregational worship. No Other Name highlights the songwriting and vocals of those now well-known Hillsong Worship team, including Reuben Morgan, Ben Fielding, Matt Crocker, Joel Houston, Nigel Hendroff, Autumn Hardmann, Annie Garrett, Jad Gillies, David Ware, and Taya Smith.

The band mentions one of the album's highlights, the song based on the Apostles' Creed, "This I Believe" written by Fielding and Crocker. The song was created after an Australian Anglican minister sent a request to Hillsong Church via Twitter to use the Apostles' Creed, one of the oldest and most widely used statements across the church at large. "This I Believe" has already been hailed as one of the most unifying pieces of music to be produced for decades.

"In an age where there is so much division, it's powerful to declare something we all believe is true, emphasizing our core beliefs," co-writer and Hillsong worship leader Fielding states to the press, "I love anything that has the power to unify the church. This creed has done that for close to 1700 years."

Hillsong Worship will be back in the United States for their "No Other Name" Tour that begins August 14 in Boston and concludes on August 31 in Grand Rapids (dates below). Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased through Premier Productions.

Hillsong Worship will also be performing at the 2nd Annual Hillsong Conference in New York City, which will be held at The Theater at Madison Square Garden from October 16 - 18th.

Hillsong Worship is the congregational expression of worship from Hillsong Church - a global church founded in Australia. Since 1992, Hillsong Worship has resourced the local church and received the gold and platinum album status multiple times. The Hillsong brands have sold more than 12 million albums.
