Hillsong United's Joel Houston Gets Cover of Relevant Magazine September 2013 Issue (VIDEO)

Joel Houston of Hillsong UNITED will hit the cover of RELEVANT magazine for the September 2013 issue. 

Also featured in the September issue are Steve Carell, Alan Chambers, Gungor, Jon Acuff, Fitz & the Tantrums, Over the Rhine and more!

Writer Matt Conner speaks with Joel and they discuss the history of the band, their upcoming fall U.S. tour and what it felt like becoming the first Christian act to ever sell out the Staples Center in Los Angeles. 

Houston also shares feeling a time to emptiness and loneliness that he had to take some time away and refresh his perspectives on things.

Hillsong UNITED released their latest studio album Zion in the U.S. on Feb. 26, 2013 and it went to No. 1 on iTunes. 

Now they have released their Oceans EP (Sept. 10), which features the original version of "Oceans (Where Feet May Fail)," a radio version, a live version - recorded at the monumental Red Rocks in Denver during UNITED's sold out show - a remix version, and an acoustic video that includes Joel talking about the heart behind this iconic song. 

The second leg of the Hillsong UNITED North American Tour is beginning this Fall.
