'Hawaii Five-0' Season 7 Spoilers: Steve, Danny Set To Have Rocky Road Bromance?

Steve and Danny are set to continue their bromance in "Hawaii Five-0" season 7; however, their dynamics is not set to be always smooth sailing.

According to "Hawaii Five-0" showrunner Peter M. Lenkov, as cited by Breathecast, Danny's donation of half of his liver to Steve is set to make their bond stronger in the show's upcoming seventh season. Previously, Steve needed a liver transplant and Danny wholeheartedly donated half of his liver to save his friend.

Lenkov also mentioned that he loved the concept of Steve going to abuse his liver, as he was a person who abused himself and put his life in danger all the time. The showrunner teased that this results to Danny becoming regretful of saving his partner's life. In addition, Lenkov said that things would not be always smooth-sailing for the two as a newfound connection would turn out to be a bone of contention between them.

As per Lenkov, this newfound link brought Steve and Danny even close together and it also gave them another things to be arguing about next year. Its full impact to the duo is yet to be revealed.

According to Bustle, "Hawaii Five-0" is set to push its season 7, though its season 6 did not perform well on television, as opposed to its predecessors. While it is thought that the sixth season marks a decline on the ratings of certain shows, it is assumed that "Hawaii Five-0's" season 7 is not set to traverse the same direction, as the previous season manage to pull in 9 million people viewers per episode in average.

"Hawaii Five-0" season 7 is assumed to air in September on CBS.
