‘Hawaii Five-0’ Season 5 Premiere Live Stream, Spoilers, CBS Start Time: Opens With ‘Nowhere to Hide’

Season 5 of the popular police procedural television drama 'Hawaii Five-0' will premiere on Friday, Sept. 26, at 9 pm EDT on CBS with its first episode entitled "Nowhere to Hide."

The official synopsis of the first episode released by the show creators reads, "The island of O'ahu goes on lockdown when Five-0 hunts a terrorist who starts using weaponized drones on civilians. Meanwhile, McGarrett and Danno must go for a mandated review with a psychologist, resulting in a session which looks a lot like couples therapy."

In 'Hawaii Five-0' Season 5, fans will see Jorge Garcia (who has appeared as a guest star in many of the previous episodes of the show) as a series regular and he will be returning to play the conspiracy theorist named Jerry Ortega.

In addition, the premiere will also feature Detective Lieutenant Chin Ho Kelly (Daniel Dae Kim) being promoted in the office, an issue that may lead to a bigger and more dramatic story as the season progresses.

In Season 5, fans will also discover more about the long-distance relationship of Rollins (Michelle Borth) and McGarrett's (Alex O'Laughlin), which as guessed, is now closing towards a civil marriage. However, new reports are claiming that Borth is set to leave the show, evidently stunting the growth of that relationship permanently.

In the meantime, a report by TVLine hinted that actress Amanda Setton will join the cast members for 'Hawaii Five-0' Season 5. She will be portraying character of a certain Dr. Mindy Shaw and will be under the tutelage of Dr. Max Bergman, Honolulu's Chief Medical Examiner.

Apart from Setton, fans will also see more guest stars in the show during the upcoming installment. Entertainment Weekly reports that Frankie Valli will play the role of Leonard Campbell - an ex-shop teacher and with stage 4 leukemia.
