Halle Berry and her ex boyfriend, Gabriel Aubry, faced each other in court last week in a trial regarding child support payment.

According to reports, the former couple chose to sit on opposite sides of the courtroom.

The actress, who made an appearance in San Diego Comic Con, departed in her lawyer's car, and did not have much to say to questions from members of the media.

Berry filed court documents last year, requesting that a judge reduce the amount of money that she pays the Canadian model to help care for their seven year old daughter, Nahla, from sixteen thousand dollars to around three thousand eight hundred dollars each month.

The star has stated that she does not mind paying for Aubry to take care of Nahla, but has reason to believe that he is using her child support payments to avoid employment, according to a report from TMZ.

The document submitted to the court by Berry, who is forty eight years old, and her lawyer last November read,

"There is no case, no law, no logic that says a healthy, active man gets to simply live off child support that the wealthier mother earns."

She also accused her ex boyfriend of spending the majority of the money on his won needs.

For instance, spending seven hundred dollars on fitness, nearly one thousand dollars on clothing, and almost two thousand dollars on car expenses, just to name a few.

The model is fighting Berry's request with the claims that he has not been able to find work since Berry's current husband, Olivier Martinez physically assaulted him in 2012.
