'Half-Life 3' News: Release Date Finally Confirmed For 2016 According To Anonymous 'Leak'

Many fans of the widely known game "Half-Life" have been wondering when a "Half-Life 3" release date will finally be confirmed. Amidst rumors about the launch, the exact date is still uncertain.

However, according to a report from Parent Herald, a certain Reddit user was able to leak information regarding the release. The conversation, which was later archived, has said to be legitimate.

"The product may release this year, the biggest factor that I've heard is marketability," wrote the anonymous user.

Unfortunately, the article also explained that a Valve representative requested Reddit moderators to delete said forum. As for its current status, a statement from the site said that "the whole thing was likely a hoax."

"A moderator of that sub confirmed that the user had sent proof of their legitimacy. At around 4:30 PM EST, the thread was removed because Valve apparently contacted the mod and asked him to remove it."

The site also claimed that Valve is currently not focusing on the anticipated game, which was cited to be the main reason for its delay.

The rumor came from Master Herald, which stated that "Left4Dead 3" will be a realistic choice for the players who are patiently waiting for the next Half-Life to be launched. According to them, Valve has allegedly been working on the game but is still keeping it under wraps.

Citing Youth Health Mag, the website went on to write that Valve might just cancel "Half-Life 3," but this claim remains unconfirmed.
