'GTA 6' Release Date Update, Rumors: Rockstar’s Sixth ‘Grand Theft Auto’ Installment Set To Arrive In 2018?

New information on the release date and game play of Rockstar Games' "Grand Theft Auto (GTA) 6" have been revealed.

"GTA 6" is set to be released in 2018, according to Vine Report. As per the publication, the said release time line is based on the same pattern elicited by the release dates of previous games of the "GTA" series. It can be recalled that "GTA 4" was released in 2008 while the "GTA 5" was released in 2013, giving a five-year gap. The said interval leaves 2018 as the most logical year for the title's release date.

According to N4BB, "GTA 6," the much-anticipated title for the "GTA" game series, for the time being, is set to be released along with the launch of Sony's PlayStation 5 and Microsoft's Xbox Two. As per the publication, this would take place at sometime between 2018 to 2020. If this is true, it is assumed that fans can see the game on the said game consoles.

In terms of game play, it is rumored that "GTA 6" is set to have a female-led narrative and it is going to be set in Oklahoma City, according to Vine Report. As per the publication, Oklahoma is a nice choice as the game's setting, as it is reportedly one of the most dangerous urban areas in the United States, which allows it to suit the game's mature content, such as crime and violence.

With the upcoming "GTA 6," Rockstar Games is assumed to reveal new details about its game play at the Electronic Entertainment Expo or E3 2016.
