GTA 5 Online DLC Update Release Date: Independence Day Pack Launches Military Vehicles as well as Patriotic Clothing

Rockstar Games will release a brand new Independence Day-themed update that will be coming to GTA Online and GTA 5 next week.

Independence Day Pack DLC will be available for the Xbox 360 and the PS3, the update includes a collection of brand new military vehicles, and American-themed additions.

Gamers would be able to roam the city of Los Santos in new military vehicles including attack helicopters and All-terrain vehicles (ATV).

To go along with the patriotic theme of the upcoming DLC, Rockstar Games will unveil new ways to customize your characters with new outfits that will feature the American flag and other symbols that represents America.

Rockstar Games released the popular game GTA 5 on the PS3 and Xbox 360 in US stores on September 17, 2013; while GTA Online was released on October 1, 2013.

"All new content and gameplay created since the launch of Grand Theft Auto Online, including an extensive array of new Jobs, an arsenal of new weapons, scores of new vehicles, new properties and player customizations will also be available for the PlayStation 4 system, Xbox One and PC with much more to come. In addition, the current community of players will have the ability to transfer their Grand Theft Auto Online characters and progression to their choice of PlayStation 4, Xbox One or PC," said Rockstar Games when they made their blockbuster announcement earlier this month, "Grand Theft Auto V for PC will also feature a video editor designed for advanced movie-making."

The newest port of GTA 5 will arrive in stores for the PC, PS4 and Xbox One in Fall 2014.
