Group 1 Crew (G1C) released their first out of three EP's scheduled for 2014, #Faster, and Manwell Reyes talks how humbled he is by his experiences up to this point.

The five song EP #Faster, is the first project without former member Blanca Callahan, with Reyes remaining as the sole member. The EP features guest performers: Moriah Peters, Glory, Jonathan Thulin, and Racheal Lampa along with replacement singer Sarah Sandz. Reyes, the face of the group has said that G1C supporters and fellow Christian singers now make up the crew.

Reyes took to Social media to announce the release of G1C's latest work. Unlike announcements in the past made by the singer/rapper, the EP announcements were somber and appeared to be coming from a place of victory in overcoming much opposition.

"You're looking at somebody that beat themselves up every day thinking that I'm just not worthy to be this Christian person, let alone some one who ministers," Reyes said in a promotional video for #Faster.

Another message on Facebook read, "My EP is out now!!! Woohoo. God is faithful despite my imperfections and for that I am truly grateful. Go and pick it up on iTunes!"

In an older post Reyes announced the EP's release date and said the crew would be "dropping" three EP's within this next year. "God is faithful and I wanted to encourage everyone of you to not look at friction or opposition as a negative but as a chance to prove to yourself that nothing is impossible when the God of the universe has called you! Press forward, believe in yourself but even more so believe God can do it," the post stated.

The EP has received mixed reviews on iTunes so far, many claiming that the group is not the same with out former member Callahan, who is now pursuing a solo career. The Word Entertainment release is also receiving praise for it's staple Group 1 Crew sound.
