GoPro Hero 4 Release Date, Specs News: Company Delays Launch of Latest Extreme Sports Camera

Bad news for GoPro fans, the new model GoPro Hero 4, has been delayed in its release date. Initially, they had set the GoPro Hero 4 to be released on October 2014, but that has recently changed.

The new device is said to be a great improvement from the GoPro Hero 3, which was popular for its capability to capture still shots in extreme sports.

What's interesting about the GoPro Hero 4, it that it's going to be waterproof. Therefore, it will be capable of getting photographs in more extreme situtations. Since it is waterproof, it can now take pictures and videos in water that is about 60 meters deep.

The flat lens is what made it possible for Hero 4 to withstand the pressure of deep water.

It will also have apps like the WiFi modules and an HDMI port so files can be easily transferred. There will also be a USB port for more accessible connectivity.

In terms of hardware, it is going to house an A9 chip. The upgrade will provide Hero 4 the ability to shoot 4K videos at 30 frames per second. At present, there is no other camera that can do this.

The A9 will also allow Hero 4 to capture 1080p quality videos at 120 frames per second and 720p videos at 240 frames per second. This fast recording will provide a very soft aspect to the videos it makes.

Once released, GoPro 4 will surely be considered as one of the best cameras in the world. As it stands, the device It is set to release in March 2015.
