Google Android M Update News: Tech Titan Introduces Android M Developer Preview 2

Google has already launched the second version of its Android M Preview mobile operating system for application developers.

This version of Android M, Android M Developer Preview 2, comes with security enhancements, API improvements, and a few bug fixes that were reported in the previous version of the operating system.

Google released the original version of the mobile operating system during its I/O event in May 2015.

Google has also promised to launch a host of new features with the public version of the operating system.

These will include an Android Play mobile payment service built into the operating system, as well as improved App Permissions that will ask for user permissions only when it is required by the application.

Also, the new improvised App Permissions feature will help users to find out the real intention of any apps that they installed on smartphones or tablets, which will give users a maximum level of control over their privacy.

Google also stepped up to the new technology introduced by Apple during the launch of its latest MacBook.

Apple introduced the USB Type C port for the MacBook, and Google has made Android M to support this port.

Google is also adding a new feature called Doze, which will allow users to save power by allowing them to sync apps while their devices are in sleep mode.

Developers or any users who are interested in downloading the Android M Developer Preview 2 can do so if they have a Nexus 5, 6, 9 or the Nexus Player.

Users with the last Android M release can update to the newest version through OTA updates.
