Golden Globes 2016 Winners, Red Carpet Hits And Misses: ‘Steve Jobs’’ Kate Winslet Wins Best Supporting Actress, ‘The Revenant’s’ Leonardo DiCaprio Wins Best Actor

The Golden Globes 2016 got people's attention today, with its line-up of winning celebrities, films, and series.

The winners for the event were revealed on Jan. 10 on NBC at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles, according to The Wrap.

As per the publication, "Steve Jobs'" Kate Winslet emerged as the Best Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture while "The Affair's" Maura Tierney won as the Best Supporting Actress in a Series, Limited Series, or TV Movie.

"Crazy Ex-Girlfriend's" Rachel Bloom was hailed as Best Actress in a TV Series, Comedy while "American Horror Story: Hotel's" Lady Gaga emerged as Best Actress in a Limited Series or TV Movie. "Joy's" Jennifer Lawrence won as Best Actress in a Motion Picture, Musical/Comedy.

"Mr. Robot's" Christian Slater won as Best Supporting Actor in a Series, Limited Series or TV Movie while "Mozart in the Jungle's" Gael Garcia Bernal got the accolade as Best Actor in a TV Series for the Musical/Comedy category. "The Martian's" Matt Damon won as Best Actor in a Motion Picture, Musical/Comedy while "Creed's" Sylvester Stallon won as Best Supporting Actor in a Motion Picture.

For the drama television series, "Empire's" Taraji Henson won as Best Actress while "Mad Men's" Jon Hamm won as Best Actor. In the Motion Picture, Drama category, "Room's" Brie Larson won as Best Actress while "The Revenant's" Leonardo DiCaprio won as Best Actor.

"The Revenant" was the Best Motion Picture for the Drama category while "The Martian" was the Best Motion Picture for the Musical or Comedy category. "Mr. Robot" also got the distinction as the Best TV series for the Drama group while "Mozart in the Jungle" rose as the Best TV Series for the Musical or Comedy group.

"Wolf Hall" won as Best TV Movie or Limited Series while "Inside Out" was the Best Animated Feature Film. "The Hateful Eight's" Ennio Morricone won the Best Original Score for Motion Picture while "Son of Soul" emerged as the Best Foreign Language Film.

"Writing's on the Wall" from "Spectre" won the Best Original Song for Motion Picture while "Steve Jobs'" Aaron Sorkin got the accolade for the Best Screenplay. "The Revenant's" Alejandro Inarrittu won as Best Director for Motion Picture.

Emceed by "The Office" writer Ricky Gervais, the Golden Globes 2016 had been anything, but predictable, as per Los Angeles Times.
