Galaxy Note 4 Release Date, Specs: Increased Resolution and Screen Size?
Samsung is gearing up towards the launch of its Galaxy Note 4 in September 2014. The tech conglomerate has released other versions of the "phablet" during the same season in previous years sticking to a trend of consistent release dates.
In an interview with Reuters, Yoon Han-kil, Senior Vice President of Samsung's product strategy team has confirmed that they are planning to introduce another version of Galaxy which will consist of a new form factor in the latter part of this year.
The latest version of Samsung phablet which is widely being used by all, is Samsung Galaxy Note 3. It consists of 5.7 inch full HD Super Model AMOLED display, 13 MP BSI sensor rear camera with autofocus, 2 MP front cameras, 1920 X 1080 resolution of screen size, 32/64 GB expandable memory slot and 3 GB RAM.
Samsung phablets have always been known for their massive screen size. The Note 3 had a 5.7 inch screen which was much larger compared to the screen size of the original Note which was only 5.3 inches. Since there is a gradual increase of 0.2 inches with each version of Samsung Galaxy Note, hence it can be anticipated that Note 4 will have a screen size of 5.9 inches.
However, leaked news from GSMArena indicates that the screen size of the next version of Note will remain same, but the resolution of the display will increase to make it meet the expectations of the users. Thus Galaxy Note 4 is anticipated as the second Samsung phone of 2014 with a resolution of 1440 pixels.
