'Friends' Comeback Reunion 2014: Jennifer Aniston "Did Matthew Perry Start That?" [VIDEO] / Co-creator Says New 'Friends' Season "Not Happening

Buzz around a possible Friends comeback reunion season is stirring up fan frenzy on the Internet. Some reports even claim NBC confirmed a new season set for 2014. Friends co-creator Marta Kauffman put the rumors to bed, telling E! the reunion is definitely "not happening."

"'Friends' was about that time in your life when your friends are your family, and once you have a family, there's no need anymore," she said.

There you have it Friends nerds, no 2014 reunion season; which means if you want to see Ross, Rachel and rest of the gang you'll have to settle for old re-runs.

Rumors of a Friends movie have been around since last Thanksgiving. Unfortunately for fans Warner Bros. has already dismissed reports of a Friends movie in a statement to Zap2It.

When the rumors starting swirling around the Internet, not even the Friends cast knew where they were coming from.

Dating back to last November, Matthew Perry (Chandler) took to Twitter to dispel the fresh rumor.

"There is zero truth to this rumor. but Happy Thanksgiving Everyone! RT ?@ebrookep1: ?@MatthewPerry Can you confirm this? ?pic.twitter.com/BWBXMH2Y"

Last week Jennifer Aniston seemed shocked on the Ellen DeGeneres Show after being told about the possible reunion season. Aniston even joked: "Did Matthew Perry start that?"

Apparently the rumors started when KHITS, a Tulsa, OK radio station posted a picture of the Friends couch from the coffee shop with a caption that read, "Friends. The One With The Reunion. Thanksgiving 2014."

KHITS has yet to comment on the post.
