'Friday The 13th: The Game' 2016 Release Date: Game Arriving Early 2017 With Beta Upcoming

Gun Media's "Friday the 13th : The Game" is one of the anticipated games and new details about its release date have surfaced. As per reports, players are set to see the game next year, with the beta upcoming

The game is set to be released in the early part of 2017, iDigital Times has learned. As per the publication, the reason for the delay is the added content. While the game's release has been delayed, the game is set to have a beta release in the latter part of 2016.

In his interview with the publication, game executive producer Randy Greenback said that it was rare that the developers got to announce that a game was getting bigger and better for everyone, adding that the news came with a delayed launch. Greenaback also said that the benefits far outweighed the additional time they needed to deliver the added content.

"So far, it sounds like the fans agree with us, and that makes us happy," Greenback said

For the game's executive producer, their goal had always been to launch the best "Friday the 13th" possible, to honor the films with a great multiplayer and amazing single player experience.

In this regard, "Friday the 13th" multiplayer release is at par with the reveal of the additional content. According to Game N Guide, such content includes Tommy Jarvis as a playable character, along with the third playable map called Packanack Lodge. On the other hand, players who pre-ordered the game will get the single player or offline module for free.

Overall, Gun Media's "Friday the 13th : The Game" is expected to come out in early 2017.
