Franklin Graham Says Pope Francis is 'Not the Judge' of Homosexuality, God is (VIDEO)

Franklin Graham sat down with Meet the Press this Sunday and stated that Pope Francis was 'Not the judge' on homosexuality.

Graham, son of popular evangelist pastor Billy Graham, made it clear in his interview with Meet the Press that while he shared Pope Francis's call to serve the poor; they differ completely when it comes to homosexuality.

Pope Francis has received praise on his liberal views towards homosexuality.

The pontiff professed in early 2013: "If a person is gay and seeks God and has goodwill, who am I to judge them?"

The progressive Pope has made many statements that differ from the doctrine of his predecessors in the Catholic Church. He has gone as far as to state that God has made all acceptable not only believers but non-believers as well.

"The Lord has redeemed all of us, all of us, with the Blood of Christ: all of us, not just Catholics. Everyone! 'Father, the atheists?' Even the atheists. Everyone!" Pope Francis stated during his sermon at a Mass in Rome.

When Graham was asked if there could be a shift for him on his stance in homosexuality like the Popes, he replied:

"Well, God would have to shift and God doesn't. God's word is the same yesterday, today, a million years from now and this is sin. To wink at sin and to tell somebody it's OK, when I know the consequences of what will happen one day when they have to stand before God."

Rev. Graham is now the head of his father's ministry and believes it is his duty as a minister of the gospel to give people the truth of the word of God.

"I want to warn people. And I think the Pope is right when he says he's not the judge. He's not the judge. God is the judge" Graham said.
