FOX's "American Idol" Winter Premiere Date. Judges, Contestants, and Try-Outs.

One of America's favorite Tv shows, "American Idol" is gearing up for its Winter Season premiere. The premiere dates have been set, as are the judges as Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban and Harry Connick Jr. take the chairs to delcare the next 'American Idol'. "American Idol" will see a two-part premiere date aring on Jan. 15-16. Each night the show will feature a two-hour long episode that will be a collaboration of the singing competition show.

In addition, Idol's "Result Show" which begins airing on Thursday's will be cut in half for a shorter tv expierence, leaving the results 30-min long and expanded over eight weeks come this Spring. The shorteness of the "Results" show is due to a lower level in viewers over the accumulation of years.
