The band's album came out on September 16, and is the first full length for lead singer Kristen May after the departure of Lacey Sturm. The band's 29-city tour kicked off on October 3, and features Ryan White Lullwater.

The band performed their song "Set Me On Fire" for BREATHEcast. Watch it below:

The band recorded the album in Los Angeles with Don Gilmore, who has previously worked with Linkin Park and Avril Lavigne.

"For the first time, we went into the studio and let things happen. It was about the energy and the spontaneity of a song more than anything. It was a very refreshing approach," May said of the recording process of Between the Stars, "It's the most emotional album I've ever been a part of. There are some really heavy things and lyrics that weren't easy to say. Everybody tried to be as raw as possible when we were writing and recording. That all came out in the songs."
