'Finding Dory' Spoilers, Release Date: Film Advocates Aquatic Health, Four Posters With Hiding Dory [TRAILER]

Along with four new posters released for Andre Stanton and Angus MacLane's "Finding Dory," it has been revealed that the film is also set to advocate for fish freedom.

Ellen DeGeneres, who is voicing the titular blue tang character in "Finding Dory" shared her thoughts about the upcoming film. In her interview with Yahoo, the host and actress said that she thought that fish should be in the ocean. She also emphasized that the sequel was about rehabilitation and putting the fish back in the ocean.

DeGeneres also mentioned that people had to protect the oceans, with the hope that that issue would start with the film. For the host-actress, people really needed to protect the aquatic environment.

"Finding Dory" centers on Nemo's forgetful blue tang fish friend, Dory, who reunites with her loved ones. According to Christian Post, the titular character is also set to recall details about her past, such as information on her parents.

In the same interview, DeGeneres revealed that Dory was searching for her parents in the movie, along with the thought that the blue tang realized she had parents. Dory is also set to meet new characters who could help her in her journey in the film.

In other news, Pixar has released four new posters for "Finding Dory," in line with the upcoming film. One poster on Facebook, features sting rays, with Dory hiding above one of them. Another photo features sea plants, with Dory hiding beneath the leaves. In one poster, Dory is seen hiding in the anemone. Another photo shows a group of jellyfish, with Dory hiding.

The film stars Eugene Levy, Albert brooks Ty Burrell, Ed O'Neill, Diane Keaton, Kaitlin Olson, Hayden Rolence, and Ellen DeGeneres.

"Finding Dory" is set to premiere in theaters in the United States on June 17.
