'Final Fantasy XV' PS4 & Xbox One Release Date News: Developers Set to Launch Demo

News about some big developments have surfaced on the Internet about the highly-anticipated upcoming Square Enix title, 'Final Fantasy XV' for the PS4 and Xbox One platforms.

According to Gaming Bolt, the video game company is currently hiring staff for a "PC spin" of the game. This suggest some online capabilities for the title, which was only previously assumed to be a one-player role-playing experience.

"As I reported on recently, Square Enix is hiring staff for possibly a PC spin off for Final Fantasy 15, Having previously said that they're looking for an 'online game planner', amongst other things, the company is now searching for an applicant that will be able to work on 'game contents using the Network', once again pointing to online functionality for possibly Final Fantasy XV," Gaming Bolt writes.

Apart from this, there is evidence that the game is hoping to optimize its visual look on the count of their search for candidates who have "experience in high-end CG movies."

Though it may seem late in development stages for Square Enix to still be recruiting help, it has been confirmed by the Lead Designer, Wan Hazmer, that the game is 80% complete. Besides, it isn't uncommon to see a development team still picking up help in the final stages of a high profile game.

"The last 20% is crucial," Hazmer recently posted on Tumblr.

He goes on to confirm the imminent release of a demo where players can finally experience the action-oriented battle system and open world exploration for themselves.

Square Enix is walking on some uncharted territory with this style of gameplay. Hazmer states that "response is crucial" in the success of the game and urges all fans to play the demo when it is released.

The release date for the actual date has still been unannounced, but fans are hopeful for confirmation at this year's E3.
