'Final Fantasy 7 Remake' Release Date News: E3 Announcement To Be Expected, Launch In 2017 Or 2018?

New details on the release date for Square Enix's "Final Fantasy 7 Remake" have been revealed. The game is said to be announced at the Electronic Entertainment Expo or E3 2016 and be released in 2017 or 2018.

Square Enix is assumed to unveil the much anticipated title "Final Fantasy 7 Remake" at the E3 2016 event, Game N Guide has learned. As per the publication, the game remake, which was also announced last year to be under development, is set to join "Final Fantasy XV" and "Final Fantasy XII: Zodiac Age."

It is further revealed that "Final Fantasy 7 Remake" is set to be similar to "Final Fantasy XIII" in terms of the number of full-length games. According to reports, the latter was divided into three titles and Square Enix could apply the same approach to the upcoming game title. If this happens, the game publisher can unveil one at the E3 event and players may see the same approach to the title's downloadable contents or DLCs.

As per reports, the title is also assumed to see improvement on the game logistics, workarounds, and combat style, in addition to the overt visual enhancements.

In terms of release date, "Final Fantasy 7 Remake" is assumed to be released in Sept. 2017, according to Ecumenical News. As per the publication, the release date is projected from the release of "Final Fantasy 15," which is on Sept. 20. Reports say that the title may also land in 2018.

Overall, Square Enix's "Final Fantasy 7 Remake" is assumed to hit game stores either in 2017 or 2018. Watch the title's PSX 2015 trailer.
