Christian athlete Lolo Jones revealed her thoughts regarding the explicit sexual themes and scenes featured in the controversial 'Fifty Shades of Grey' movie.

The 32-year-old Des Moines, Iowa native has been always outspoken about her faith, which is why the Olympic track and field star previously said she will remain a virgin until she gets married.

"Funny how some people think there's nothing wrong with 50 shades of Grey," wrote Jones on her Twitter page on February 17.

"God didn't create sex for that purpose. Watch another movie."

Jones further expressed her views on the provocative film based on the popular book written by British author EL James in 2011.

"Some ppl medicate pain by being more and more physical to where if they are ever alone they can't feel any peace," tweeted Jones.

However, a man who she was rumored to have dated in the past, Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson recently voiced his contrasting views regarding the movie's storyline that was originally established in the best-selling novel that spawned two literary sequels 'Fifty Shades Darker' and 'Fifty Shades Freed' in book stores in 2012.

"Saw a movie filmed in the town I call home," said Wilson after several fans on social media criticized the Christian football athlete, according to a TMZ report earlier this month.

"Provocative/disturbing no doubt but that does not make me less Faithful. Have a blessed day!"

Previously, Jones publicized in an interview a few years ago that remaining a virgin is the most challenging aspect of her life so far.

"It's just something, a gift I want to give my husband. But please understand that this journey has been hard," said Jones to HBO's 'Real Sports' in 2012 regarding her lifelong abstinence from premarital sex.

"There are virgins out there and I'm going to let them know, it's the hardest thing I've ever done in my life. Harder than training for the Olympics. Harder than graduating from college."

The 'Fifty Shades of Grey' film starring Dakota Johnson (Anastasia Steele) and Jamie Dornan (Christian Grey) debuted in movie theaters on February 13, 2015.
