The "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" is undeniably one of the most successful movies of the year. With a "Fantastic Beasts 2" already in the works, fans are all looking forward to updates on the upcoming film's cast.

"Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them 2" will reportedly start production in August or September, 2017. However, already, the casting for the upcoming movie sequel has already begun.

Latest reports about the upcoming "Fantastic Beasts 2" cast claim that Jared Harris is joining the cast of the sequel. The actor is the son of Richard Harris, the actor who played the Old Dumbledore in the first movie adaptation of "Harry Potter."

Fans of the film believe that his father's previous role in "Harry Potter" makes Jared perfect for his role in the upcoming "Fantastic Beasts" sequel, where he will play the younger clone of the oldest wizard of Hogwarts.

Despite reports of him being part of the film, Jared Harris said in his recent interview with Vanity Fair that he had not yet heard anything about the role being given to him. He clarified the rumors and said that he's not the one to decide on it but the creators of the film themselves.

Previously, Jared Harris starred in "Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows" and "The Man From U.N.C.L.E." Since the creators of the film have not yet confirmed Jared's role in the upcoming sequel, fans have to wait for the "Fantastic Beasts" production team to release its official announcement.

"Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them 2" is scheduled to hit theaters in November, 2018.
