Kevin Durant Laughed at by ESPN Reporter After Saying, 'Thank God, That's All I Can Say. Jesus Christ' When Asked About Recent Success (VIDEO)

A video of ESPN reporter Doris Burke interviewing NBA player Kevin Durant has gone viral because of the awkward response the reporter gives the star when he accredits God to his successes on the court.

After the Oklahoma City Thunder beat the Miami Heat on Wednesday, Burke asked Durant what he would say goes into a streak that led to the Thunders' twelve game winning streak. Wednesday night marked the 12th consecutive game in which Durant scored more than 30 points.

"Thank God, that's all I can say. Jesus Christ," Durant said.

Burke the laughed, and replied, "You didn't have nothing to do with it?"

"No. It's all Him," Durant said.

As soon as the interview-aired, fans took to Twitter to address the reporter's unseemly response to Durant's heart felt comment.

"The reporter laughed when Durant said,'It's all God, not me. It's all Jesus Christ.' Smh, that's terrible ESPN," one fan tweeted.

Another added, "Doris Burke laughing when Durant said, 'all credit goes to god' really bothers me. Poor reporter overall and shouldn't be employed by ESPN."

Someone was angered by the interview and said, "ESPN's Doris Burke laughed at Kevin Durant giving praise to Jesus Christ. Turn the tables & call for her immediate firing."
