Ender's Game Movie Release Date , Watch Official Trailer Starring Harrison Ford & Asa Butterfield Here (VIDEO)

Ender's Game is a new American science fiction action film releasing this week that is based on the novel of the same name from author Orson Scott Card. 

Asa Butterfield plays Andrew "Ender" Wiggin who is a highley intelligent and gifted child who is sent to a military school in space to prepare for a future alien invasion (watch official trailer below). 

Ender's Game also stars Harrison Ford, Ben Kingsley Aramis Knight and others. 

Official Plot: After an alien race called the Formics (also known as the "Buggers") attacks Earth, the International Fleet prepare for the next invasion by training the best young children to find the future candidate to lead the International Fleet and fill the shoes of the legendary war hero Mazer Rackham. Ender Wiggin (Asa Butterfield), a shy but strategically brilliant boy, is pulled out of his Earth school to join the International Fleet and attend the legendary Battle School, located in Earth orbit. After easily mastering the increasingly difficult war games, distinguishing himself and winning respect among his peers, Ender is soon ordained by Colonel Graff (Harrison Ford) as the military's next great hope, resulting in his promotion to Command School. Once there, he is trained by Mazer Rackham (Ben Kingsley) himself to lead the military into a war that will determine the future of Earth and the human race.

Ender's Game is written and directed by Gavin Hood and executive produced by Roberto Orci. The film had a budget of $110 million and began filming in February 2012 in New Orleans. 

Ender's Game is set to release to theaters and IMAX in the U.S. on November 1st, 2013. Will you head to the theaters to catch it?
