After reports surfaced claiming that one of the most famous Hollywood couples Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield have broken up, rumors are now focusing on the possible reasons as to why the two may have decided to split after three years of dating.

The rumors of course remain strong as the two 'Amazing Spiderman' co-stars and on-screen lovers have not officially commented on all the reports claiming that they have broken up, after recently jumping out of the public's view.

The two have always been in the public's eye together, whether grabbing a quick lunch and using their fame in promoting their chosen organizations through the paparazzi that follow them around or just hitting the red carpet together.

But recently, the two have not been seen together at all ever since the Awards shows kicked off. Until now, there are still no signs that the two are in fact together disproving the rumors. Well for now, if indeed the rumors are true, several reports claim that the two took a break to find out if their relationship can still work despite their busy and very much conflicting schedules.

Garfield has been in Taiwan for the past few months shooting his new film 'Silence' while his rumored former girlfriend Stone has been in New York doing some theater work. At first, reports were claiming that it was just because of their schedules but now, rumors are saying that it was because allegedly Garfield cheated on Stone while he was in Taiwan.

A source told OK! Magazine that Garfield was devastated in having done that. "He says that he met a girl in a bar, and that he would never dream of doing anything like that ever again," the source said.

The source also claimed that Stone was of course hurt by the supposed unfaithfulness of his beau. "She never thought that he'd be capable of this in a million years, and she's beside herself," the source said adding, "She feels betrayed and says that she can't be with someone she doesn't trust. She knows that they can't be together every second of every day and doesn't want to be constantly worried that he'll cheat again."
