'Dumb and Dumber To' Jimmy Carrey & Jeff Daniels Show Pictures From The Set, Sequel Filming Underway, Release Date 2014 (VIDEO)

Dumb and Dumber To is finally underway filming and Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels are back in action after close to 20 years of waiting. Dumb and Dumber released in 1994, crazy right?

For years it appeared that a movie sequel would never happen after years of quiet. However, they finally got everyone on board and got the green light to start filming. 

As you can see above, the first pictures from filming have been released showing Lloyd Christmas (Jim Carrey) and Harry Dunne (Jeff Daniels) back in their old outfits and even with the same haircuts.

Jim Carrey, now 51 and Jeff Daniels, 58, hope to still have what it takes to produce a great comedy together. 

"The scariest thing? There are some things that we're going to do in 'Dumb and Dumber To' that make the toilet scene [in the original] seem lame," said Daniels. "Pales in comparison and I can't divulge what, but just that they've topped it." (via Yahoo)

Sequels are always a scary thing to try as most are not as good as the originals, however fans  just seem excited to see the movie stars back.  I don't feel anyone has expectations that this sequel will actually be better than the original movie but just that hopefully it can capture some of that same magic from the first iconic movie
