'Duck Dynasty's' Phil Robertson Baptizes Man Who Drove 20 Hours for the Ceremony, 'I Can Count on One Hand the People I Met from New Jersey'

"Duck Dynasty" star Phil Robertson knows firsthand as a Christian that every baptism is one of a kind and very important event in the life of a Christian.

He was present when a New Jersey resident named Brian Richards had his baptism last Sunday. Despite the fact that God views all baptisms in the same manner, the details surrounding Richards' baptism is very newsworthy.

Richards left his town in New Jersey so that he can be baptized. He began the long journey at his New Jersey home, he drove at least 20 hours to White's Ferry Road Church of Christ in West Monroe, La.

In addition, the person who baptized Richards in the name of Jesus is is in fact one of the most famous reality stars in the United States of America. The man who officiated Richards in the baptism ceremony was actually Phil Robertson himself.

"From New Jersey, I can count on one hand the people I met from New Jersey," jokes Robertson at the Baptism ceremony in reference to Richards' incredible trek from New Jersey to the White's Ferry Road Church of Christ in West Monroe, La.

The patriarch of the Robertson family introduces Richards to the church in the first clip. Then in the second video, Richards was shown being baptized by Robertson.

Robertson was briefly suspended from appearing on his "Duck Dynasty" reality show after comments he made regarding homosexuality in an interview with GQ Magazine.

The critically acclaimed reality series Duck Dynasty airs on the A&E network on Wednesdays at 10pm EST.
