'Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2' Release Date, News: Game Adds More Characters Such As Gojita, Janemba And Bardock

Bandai Namco is set to add more characters to "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2's" growing ensemble of characters, according to reports.

The developers behind "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" are set to add characters from canon, TechnoBuffalo has learned. As per the website, the game will also see some from the entire "Dragon Ball" realm.

The new characters include Gojita and Janemba, the hero and villain from "Dragon Ball Z's" 12th film "Dragon Ball Z: Fusion Reborn." Along with them are characters from the Android Saga, which include Future Trunks, Future Gohan, and Goku's father Bardock. Furthermore, "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" is also set to mark the appearance of Android 16 and Cell in his "most imperfect form."

According to iTech Post, "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" will also see Goku Black; however, the studio reportedly canceled the character from being a pre-order exclusive. Players will also see the Super Saiyan Rosé transformation in the upcoming game.

Along with Gojita, Janemba, Bardock, Future Trunks, and Future Gohan, other characters that players will see in the game include Belarus, Broly, Dodoria, Frieza, Majin Vegeta, Meta Cooler, Slug, Super 17, Super Saiyan 4 Vegeta, Super Saiyan Gojita, Turtles and Zerbon, among others, as per Game N Guide.

With the appearance of the aforementioned characters, players can also work hand in hand with five other players as a team. The wide array of character plus the multiplayer gameplay assume that the game is set to provide a diverse and engaging gaming experience.

The release date of "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" is set for Oct. 25 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
