As Downton Abbey returns for its fifth season, fans are becoming concerned that yet another one of their favorite characters will meet their demise in the upcoming episodes.

Previous season have been leaving the fans shocked and surprised about the notable deaths of series regulars. Some of the deaths resulted from disputes by the actors and their requests to leave the show. This worries fans because if more actors decide they not longer want to be part of Downton Abbey, that means more characters will die. However, there are plenty of cast members left, and rumors say more characters will appear on the show relatively soon.

Creator Julian Fellowes explained why some of the cast members opted to leave the show. He says the main reason is schedule conflicts, basically, the departing actors are leaving for other shows and even movies. With this, some believe Lady Rose played by Lily James will be leaving the show because of her part in the upcoming Disney live-action film Cinderella.

As a part of the promotion for Downton Abbey Season 5, a 20-second trailer has been released expecting to provide some spoilers. Along with that ITV confirmed that Richard E. Grant and Anne Chancellor will be serving as guests while Rade Sherbedgia will play as a Russian refugee.

Season 5 spoilers also reveal that Lady Mary has finally chosen a new beau. Many assume that it could be Lord Gillingham after a kissing scene was shot between the two.

The release date for the fifth installment is expected to be in September sometime this year in UK.
