Francesca Battistelli's baby boy

Francesca Battistelli is riding high as she welcomed her newest baby boy, Isaac Goodwin, just a month after being nominated for her first GrammyIsaac Goodwin was born on Sunday, Mar. 20, weighing 10 Ibs. and 9 oz.

"We are so in love with our big bundle of joy!" Battistelli said in an Instagram post. "We pray that Isaac will be full of laughter as his name suggests. We're so grateful to God for a healthy and safe birth, and we look forward to getting to know our little boy!"

Aside from the baby boy, Francesca Battistelli and husband Matthew Goodwin already have two children together, Audrey Jane and Matthew Elijah.

On Feb. 15, the American Christian singer was nominated for her first Grammy Award in the category of "Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song" for her track, "Holy Spirit." However, her advancing pregnancy at that time forced her to sit out the ceremony.

"Holy Spirit" is a cut from her 2014 album, "If We're Honest," which was released under Fervent Records. That was also her most successful album to date, as it garnered three total Grammy nominations.

Apart from receiving a Grammy nomination, "Holy Spirit" was also a commercial success after spending 15 consecutive weeks at no. 1 and also dominated five radio charts last year. "Write Your Story" and "He Knows My Name" also spent time at no. 1.

Francesca Battistelli is obviously taking time off after the birth of her baby boy but will embark on a tour once she's rested. Visit her official website http://www.francescamusic.com/tour for more information about tour dates and scheduled performances.
