Disney Infinity 3.0 News, Update: 'Star Wars,' 'Captain America: Civil War’ Characters Introduced [TRAILER]

Along with a long term support, new play sets are set to replace the Disney Infinity 4.0 release. Also, it has been revealed that Disney Infinity 3.0 is set to introduce characters from Joe Russo and Anthony Russo's upcoming film "Captain America: Civil War."

According to IGN, Disney Infinity is set to receive a new take for its fourth year in the market. As per the publication, versions 2.0 and 3.0 followed the initial Disney Infinity, introducing various characters from Marvel and Star Wars. For 2016, Disney Infinity 4.0 is not going to happen, as per Game Reporter.

In a statement, Disney Infinity production Vice President John Vigncchi said that Disney had already introduced the four core franchises to Disney Infinity, adding that the developer would continue to support Disney Infinity 3.0 with more content, characters, and play sets from all the beloved brands.

As per iDigital Times, Disney Interactive unveiled to the fans the "Zootopia" content, which is set to hit the store this week. According to the publication, Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde are two characters that are available for purchase, in addition to four "Zootopia" power discs that are inspred by the animated film. Also, Disney revealed its plans to release a Baloo figure, in line with Jon Favreau's forthcoming live-action remake of "The Jungle Book."

In line with the Russos' upcoming Marvel Comics film "Captain America: Civil War," Disney had also announced the inclusion of Black Panther, Ant-Man, Vision, and Black-Suit Spider-Man in Disney Infinity 3.0. According to The BitBag, this is part of the game's long term support plan, along with the promotion of the forthcoming "Captain America: Civil War."

"Zootopia" premiered on Feb. 17 while "The Jungle Book" is coming to theaters on Apr. 6. Meanwhile, "Captain America:Civil War" premieres in theaters on May 6.
