Disciple's 'Angels and Demons' Reaches No. 1 on Billboard Christian Chart; Band Begins One Life Tour

Disciple

Longtime hard rock group Disciple is exuberant off their latest no. 1 hit, with "Angels and Demons" as it climbed to the top spot on the Billboard Christian Rock chart.

The song has picked up steam as the band has made it a mainstay in their sets during this festival season.

This is Disciple's 15th no. 1 single, but the first with the newest incarnation of the lineup, which got together in 2013. They then successfully crowd funded 2014's Attack.

"Angels and Demons" comes directly before the release of both Disciple's Vultures EP and their Best Of compilation from their years signed to Fair Trade Services.

You can catch Disciple on tour this fall with Everfound on the One Life Tour along with KJ-52, Everfound, and newcomers, the Protest, and speaker Sean G. Park.

"FINALLY! Headlining this year's One Life Tour is Christian Rock icons Disciple!" the One Life Tour Facebook reads. "Disciple has sold hundreds of thousands of records and have fourteen #1 singles. That is why they have gained such an amazing fan base over the years. They are the industry standard when it comes to Christian rock. Come see Disciple live! It will be a night that changes your life!"

This tour features an assortment of genres with each artist having a different sound whether it be hard rock, hip-hop, or more contemporary. According to NewReleaseToday, the concert series is formatted more like an evangelistic out reach.

"Our goal is to strengthen and encourage local communities, ministries and student leaders. The One Life Tour is more than a concert... it's a show, it's an outreach, it's encouragement, it's eternal," the event website reads.

Sponsors for the tour include Juce TV and One Child Matters. The tour is still looking to fill in dates, so for churches, venues, or business willing to bring the tour to their area, visit One Life's official website.
