'Destiny: The Collection' Release News: Game Trailer Showcases Exclusive PS4 Content

Bungie has released its latest trailer for "Destiny: The Collection," and it contains some exclusive content for the PlayStation 4.

The trailer runs a minute long and opens with the locales of "Rise of Iron," along with its characters, missions, and actual gameplay footage like Show of Strength. It also features the Timeless Tershkova vessel, along with the Icarus multiplayer map and an exclusive content from The Taken King. Also, the Jade rabbit exotic, Echo Chamber strike, and Sector 618 multiplayer map are also available to the game's PlayStation 4 version.

According to Game Spot, "Destiny: Rise of Iron" was inspired by HBO's "Game of Thrones'" armor, gear, and landscapes, along with how the series tells its story. In a statement, as cited by the website, art director Shiek Wang said that in the hit television series, the audience are treated to big and long episodes with many various characters, adding that the show leaves viewers in the dark for some time, but then comes back and dives deep into certain characters.

"Oh my gosh, that's why she did this, and that's why the writers chose to do this!" Wang said. That's very much what we're doing with Rise of Iron," the art director added.

Set in Old Russia, "Destiny: Rise of Iron" is set to feature the Plaguelands and the game's starting weapon, the Khvostov. As per reports, the weapon is more potent than its predecessors.

Overall, "Destiny: The Collection" and "Destiny: Rise of Iron" are set to be released for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on Sept. 20.
