The lineup for the upcoming Jesus Freak Cruise, slated for the summer of 2017, is now complete. Grammy Award-winning DC Talk will be performing during the event, alongside Newsboys, Diverse City Band, Capital Kings, Finding Favour, Ryan Stevenson, Kevin Max, and Hollyn.

The Jesus Freak Cruise is shaping up to be a special treat for fans, as it marks the first time in 16 years that DC Talk perform together.

Speculations regarding the DC Talk reunion have been going on over the past few years, but when the band announced that they only will be performing at the Jesus Freak Cruise next year, fans hoping for a full tour ended up disappointed.

"This is a give back that we wanted to do--we wanted it to be intimate and special," TobyMac wrote in a post on the official DC Talk Facebook page. "More intimate than an arena tour could ever be. It embraces what we are doing and what we did. We are excited about both. Who knows what the future holds."

"We've said 'No' to coming back together so many times, but this time we finally said 'YES'. It can be so challenging for us to all get together with our families going in different directions, and our own bands, and their families," he added, apologizing that it might not be what fans wanted.

The luxury cruise ship, where the performing bands and artists will perform, embarks from Miami, Fla., on July 11, 2017, with scheduled pit stops in Nassau, Bahamas, and a private island in Half Moon Cay.
