This week's episodes of 'Days of Our Lives' are composed of a series of emotional twists for the residents of Salem City. Things do not go well for Hope Brady as she tries to conceal her overwhelming love for Aiden Jennings, but falls short in doing so. The same is true with Abigail Deveraux who's fighting her feelings for Ben.

Hope's fantasies about Aiden will prove to be farfetched as she eventually discovers that Daniel Cosgrove's character and Nicole Walker are currently spending more time together. Meanwhile, Kate's long distance relationship with EJ seems marred by his reconciliation with Sami Brady. Will Kate choose to set aside her differences with the two to save the relationship?

On the other hand, Jennifer tries to mend a broken heart as Daniel admits that he is not interested in rekindling their romance. But he and Kayla are on to some revelation that can help John cure his sickness. At the end of the week, fans will learn Theresa's ugly secrets while EJ is shocked by unexpected news - the return of his brother Chad DiMera played by Billy Flynn.

Flynn will be making his debut on September 12 with the character who was portrayed by Casey Jon Diedrick from 2009 to 2013. In an interview with The Wrap, the 58-year-old actor teased, "The way I look at it, much like Stefano, everything's kind of a chess game. With Chad coming back, everything is a chess game, and everyone in Salem is a pawn. He's going to use anybody he absolutely can. He's come back in the picture and he's ready to assert his place as a prominent member of the DiMera family."
