Singer Danny Gokey celebrated the success of his No. 1 single and album "Hope in Front of Me" with a post Dove Awards party at a local coffee house.

"This is an incredible surprise; to be surrounded by my team, family and friends and to receive this recognition, it's full-circle," Gokey said at the event, "It's been a journey through writing and creating the music, hitting the road visiting radio stations across the country, and seeing the positive response of fans going to stores and iTunes to purchase and support this record. I am grateful for the success of the album and single, and can't wait to see what is next."

Gokey was surrounded by his team, label executives, family, and friends who were all there to surprise him over the success of his song on the Billboard charts.

Gokey's album Hope in Front of Me debuted on June 23. The 11-track album features production from award winning producers Bernie Herms (Natalie Grant, Ruben Studdard, Barbara Streisand and Andrea Bocelli) Keith Thomas (Amy Grant, BeBe and CeCe Winans) and Josh Crosby (Cher, Owl City, Adam Lambert, Britt Nicole and Mat Kearney).
