Danny Gokey's 'Hope in Front of Me' Music Video Premieres; Abuse, Failure, and Depression Not Enough to Stop Peace of God [VIDEO]

Danny Gokey

Danny Gokey's music video for "Hope in Front of Me" has been released today and can be seen exclusively on NewReleaseTuesday.

The video shows people holding up signs that speak of their personal problems, "abuse," "miscarriage," "failure," and so on. The song intercuts with Gokey singing his message of hope and cuts back to those very same broken people tearing their signs in half. Some of the people hold up signs that read "hope."

The music video is just as powerful as the words in the song themselves.

Gokey recently celebrated the success of his No. 1 single and album "Hope in Front of Me" with a post Dove Awards party at a local coffee house.

"This is an incredible surprise; to be surrounded by my team, family and friends and to receive this recognition, it's full-circle," Gokey said at the event, "It's been a journey through writing and creating the music, hitting the road visiting radio stations across the country, and seeing the positive response of fans going to stores and iTunes to purchase and support this record. I am grateful for the success of the album and single, and can't wait to see what is next."

Gokey was surrounded by his team, label executives, family, and friends who were all there to surprise him over the success of his song on the Billboard charts.

"Danny is one of the most honest representations of talent, strength, courage, generosity, and faith," said Richard Blackstone of the Artist Services division of BMG, North America, "This song is a brilliantly created jewel, the message of which is resonating with people around the world. This song touches upon a timeless message and thus it will be around for many years to come."
