The official announcement for "Dancing With The Stars" season 23 cast will not be revealed until early September, but some celebrity names have already surfaced. Just recently, rumors about the participation of Rio Olympians in season 23 have also emerged.

According to reports, the producers of the hit reality dance show are interested to ask the women's gymnastics team of America who won a gold medal at this year's Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro to join the show. An insider revealed that on top of next season's possible participants are Laurie Hernandez, Simone Biles, Gabby Douglas and Madison Kocian.

Via a Twitter post, "Dancing with the Stars" dancer Mark Ballas also expressed his interest to dance with Laurie Hernandez in season 23.

Some reports also claim that iconic swimmer Michael Phelps has been invited to join the upcoming season but he refused since he's currently concentrating on his competition at the 2016 Rio Olympics.

As for the judges, music personalities Pitbull and Shakira are reportedly joining the panel, including Julianne Hough and Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Taniolo.

"Dancing with the Stars" season 23 is set to premiere on Sept. 12, 8:00 p.m. on ABC. There are rumors that Tom Bergeron and "Dancing with the Stars" season 10 finalist Erin Andrews are the hosts for the new season, but ABC has yet to confirm the rumors.
