'Dancing With the Stars' Season 19 2014 Cast News: Julianne Hough Big Comeback

Exciting news about the upcoming 'Dancing with the Stars' Season 19 has broke as it's now confirmed that two-time champion Julianne Hough will be back on the show, not as a contestant, but as a judge this season.

Hough in her recent interview with Us Magazine said "I'm so excited to be back with my Dancing with the Stars family again on a regular basis. I've always aspired to be an all-around entertainer, whether I'm acting, dancing or singing, and I'm thrilled for this opportunity that will allow me to continue all of those pursuits," the actress and singer revealed.

As the new season launches its premiere episode on September 15 via ABC, fans can expect that Hough will sit alongside judges Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba, and Bruno Tonioli.

According to reports, Hough will be returning after her five year break from the show as a dancer-choreographer. In the five years since she left, she has focused on her acting and music career. It seems to have been worth it as she was a part of many successful films including 'Safe Haven', 'Paradise', 'Rock of Ages' and also the 2011 remake of 'Footloose'.

Hough is now back after gaining more reverence in her career in acting and in music, "Derek and I just finished our Move Live on Tour, which reminded me how much I miss the interaction with the dance fans that have been so supportive of me in my career. I am warming up the paddles and the sass, and I'm ready to have fun in this new role," Hough stated.

DWTS on the other hand is very much excited to have the champion finally back on the show. Executive producer Rob Wade mentioned, "We are delighted to welcome Julianne back to the DWTS family. Her blend of ballroom dancing experience and unique judging ability make her the ideal choice for the show, and we are very excited to have her, Carrie Ann, Bruno and Len on board."
