Following Abby Lee Miller's admission to numerous counts of fraud charges, "Dance Moms" season 7 has been plagued with cancellation rumors. Aside from the controversy involving Miller, Jojo Siwa's absence in all competitions this season has caused fans to think that it won't be long before the young dancer leaves the show.
Some media outlets previously confirmed that Jojo Siw's departure. For fans of the show, the young dancer's absence in Fierce Dance Competition which was held in Agoura Hills, California, last week seems to have confirmed that Siwa will no longer return when "Dance Moms" season 7 airs next year.
There are also speculations that Jojo Siwa will slowly exit the current season, especially since Lifetime's synopsis for next week's episode is titled "Jojo is a No Show." Several fans think that the title of the episode teases the exit of the young dancer in season 6.
Some reports also claim that Siwa will quit the elite team of Abby Lee Dance Company soon, and this event will mark the beginning of her departure from the current season.
The synopsis for the episode also hints that viewers are in for the most dramatic turn of the season. According to reports, Abby Lee Miller will assign Jojo a rare ballet number with Kendall Vertes and they will compete directly against Nia Sioux and Brynn Rumfallo. Since this will reportedly be too much for Jojo, she will finally decide to leave the show.
A sneak peek for the upcoming episode shows Jojo reacting negatively to the assignment. After Jojo admits that she is not a ballet person, her mom Jessalyn goes up to Miller and tells her that her daughter will no longer compete.
"Dance Moms" season 6 episode 29 airs on Oct. 18 on Lifetime. Meanwhile, season 7 is expected sometime in 2017.
