Colton Dixon Debuts 'Through All of It' Music Video; Dedicates Song to Charleston Shooting Victims [WATCH HERE]

Popular Christian singer Colton Dixon released his new music for "Through All of It" on FOXNews.com this morning, and also spoke about the Charleston shootings.

"It was so overwhelming to read these stories. My heart broke, I laughed I cried, ya know it was every emotion I can think of," shared on the Dispatch with Todd Starnes regarding his new music video.

The singer compiled stories from his fans through Facebook and Twitter that were hash tagged #ThroughAllOfIt. However, what he did not share with the fans is that he and his team went in and hand selected some of the stories to use in the music video.

It was those people he picked that were used in the music video and filmed sharing their stories to intercut with Dixon's singing throughout the video. Stories range from accidents, cancer, and PTSD.

Dixon took the time out to dedicate the music video to the victims of the attack on the church in Charleston. The message of the song speaks so powerfully to what the people of that town are going through, and the release was not done intentionally. "I hope the people in Charleston are encouraged by this and across the U.S. I hope you guys take a listen and watch the video, these stories really encouraged me."

The increasingly popular Dixon was nominated for Male Artist of the Year, something he still can't fathom.

"I still think they got it wrong," the singer jokingly said. "I grew up listening to these guys. All of those artists in my category I grew up listening to. It's just weird, it's awesome. To win would be even more awesome."
