CMT Awards Miranda Lambert Wins Big, Jason Aldean and Kristin Bell Host, Taylor Swift Shut Out?

The CMT Awards were back in Nashville,TN tonight at Bridgestone Arena. They were hosted by country singer, Jason Aldean and actress, Kristin Bell.

Miranda Lambert won 2 Awards,  "CMT Performance of the Year" and "Female Video of the Year".

Miranda's husband, Blake Shelton, won for "Male Video of the Year".

"Video of the Year" went to Carrie Underwood for "Blown Away".

Florida Georgia Line won "Breakthrough Video of the Year" award for the song "Cruise" and also closed the night with a performance of the song as well.

Lenny Kravitz made a guest appearance as he performed and presented.

The shows opens with a cameo video of previous hosts.

"I guess it's because I'm hosting the CMT Awards," Aldean explains. "I don't know. It's kind of a scary proposition for a Georgia boy."

"Scary proposition?" Vaughn retorts, offering his own version of tough love. "Come on. Don't be a punk. Pull yourself together here, Aldean. I love you like a brother, but you sicken me. Your attitude makes me want to puke. Makes me want to puke all over your shoes and all over your pants."

Vaughn eventually provides the emotional support Aldean needs to host the awards show.

"Jason, listen, I want you to take this opportunity and ride it like the bucking bull that it is," he says. "It's your chance to learn, to grow, to show the world what you can do. In a way, you could treat this like it's kind of an internship. So you go there on that stage tonight with that little red hot shrink next to you -- and you ride like the wind to be free again."

How did you like Jason and Kristin hosting?
